Wise Wonders is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors who bring their experience, leadership, and passion for our community to help move our mission forward.
President
Lucas is a partner at Crowley Fleck, PLLP whose law practice includes commercial transactions, trust and estate planning, and tax controversies. Prior to his legal career, Lucas served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, and is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve. Lucas believes strongly in the value of hands-on learning for kids (and adults) of all ages and is excited by Wise Wonders’ ability to serve the Billings community through a variety of formats. In his free time, Lucas enjoys spending time with his wife and three young sons.

Ashley is a proud Billings native and an integral part of Billings’ leading mother-daughter real estate team. With over 8 years of experience as a realtor, she has a deep understanding of the local market. She is also a former collegiate athlete, having graduated from Rocky Mountain College with a degree in Business Management. Outside of her successful career, Ashley finds joy in raising her two young kids and cherishes her marriage to her best friend. Their family is completed by their beloved miniature schnauzer, Ace.
I love Wise Wonders because it’s a place my kids’ eyes light up as soon as we walk in the door. The museum fosters creativity, learning, and a place for families to connect and simply enjoy at all ages, which is such an asset to our community!
Ashley Erb
Treasurer
Kelly serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma. Beginning her career in public accounting, Kelly later transitioned into consulting, where she consulted various companies and industries throughout the United States. With a strong belief in the power of education, Kelly is passionate about inspiring young minds through STEM and fostering opportunities for learning and growth within the community. This passion aligns closely with Wise Wonders Science and Discovery Museum’s mission to engage curious, creative, and scientific minds in a playful learning environment for all children and families. Kelly is proud to support Wise Wonders’ commitment to STEM education through fun and interactive exhibits that encourage learning through play.
Kelly Grauman
Vice President
Jake is an experienced educator and lifelong learner. He is an experienced math teacher, STEM curriculum developer, as well as informal educator. He has worked at two science centers (Mobius Science Center and Museum of Science, Boston) with years of direct experience programming engaging STEM for all ages. Jake brings insight into education programs, community partnerships and opportunities for growth in Billings.
Jake Milliron

Desiree is retired from a 30-year career with Billings Public Schools and Montana State University Billings. She began her career providing technical support to schools across the district before creating and managing the district’s first network and expanding internet access throughout the schools. With a passion for teaching, Desiree earned her teaching credentials and became a Technology Integration Specialist, coaching educators and developing professional development models that were adopted across several states. She later earned her library media endorsement and spent the final 10 years of her career as a library media specialist at Poly Drive Elementary. Desiree now enjoys volunteering, reading, hiking with her husband, and spending time with her puppy, Dot.

Genia Castro Waller is a creative strategist, community advocate, and co-owner of Graphic Finesse, a boutique branding and design agency based in Billings. Deeply invested in the growth and vitality of her hometown, Genia brings her expertise in storytelling, design, and outreach to help local organizations thrive. She is passionate about fostering curiosity and creativity in children, supporting spaces like Wise Wonders that make learning hands-on and fun. Outside of her professional work, Genia volunteers with several local initiatives and enjoys spending time exploring Montana with her husband, Aaron, and their young son, Graham.

Brandy Dangerfield is a lifelong maker, creative thinker, and lover of all things STEAM. A Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator by trade, Brandy’s journey with Wise Wonders began in the early 2000s with a group of moms dreaming of a children’s museum in Billings. She’s been part of every step since — from mall play areas to today’s vibrant discovery space. Brandy is passionate about sparking curiosity and helping kids discover a lifelong love of learning through play.

Matt Zabawa
Director
Matthew Zabawa is the Chief Product Officer at WebBuy a SAAS technology company that serving car dealerships across the country. He brings a strong technical and strategic background to the board, having worked on emerging technologies and vehicle platform planning during his years as an engineer for Ford Motor Company and Boeing. Matt holds an MBA with a focus in product development and is deeply passionate about STEM education. He believes that hands-on science and discovery centers are vital community assets that help children and parents understand the physical world around them. Outside of his professional career, Matt enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and modding Seiko watches. He loves doing science experiments and Crunchlab projects with his kids
Katie Kvilhaug
Director
Katie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who audits Non-Profits. She has a Master of Accounting from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Katie was born and raised in Billings. She moved back to be close to family, for a deep love of this city, and in hopes of sharing and enhancing her experience with the community that she calls home.
"Wise Wonders is a place I would have loved to experience when I was a child growing up in Billings. It's fascinating to see children interact with all of the exhibits. Wise Wonders presents a whimsical learning experience, and I am excited to help facilitate this experience for generations to come."

Craig Davied is Director, Technical at the Phillips 66 Billings Refinery. He began his career in Texas after earning his degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and went on to hold a range of technical and supervisory roles with Phillips 66 across Texas and Oklahoma before relocating to Billings with his family in 2023. A father of four, Craig is a firm believer in the power of STEM education to shape and inspire young minds. Since arriving in Billings, his family has been proud members of Wise Wonders, and he has come to deeply appreciate the museum’s playful, hands-on approach to learning for children of all ages. Craig is excited to deepen his involvement with Wise Wonders and to share his passion for STEM with the broader community.
